[Good morning denizens of Luceti! The Emperor of Malkuth has a wondrous announcement for you all today. Can't you tell by just how bright his face is?]

Yo! So, it's finally White Day of which I've been hearing of-- the day to be returning gifts threefold to the lovely ladies who gave you a gift on this day one month earlier from what I hear! However, as I've only heard of St. Valentines Day not to long ago, I can't say there is anyone to give back to. Per se.

And that's exactly why I've decided just now that I'll give a small gift to the community instead! Not right away, of course, but in the future I would like to hold a tournament for the restless warrior souls and unfortunately bored seekers of entertainment. Any thoughts, opinions, opening acts [he stops to chuckle as that one is possibly a joke, possibly not] or volunteers to help out!?

House One - Action;
[At some point through out the day, the girls of house one will hear a knock on their bedroom door and upon opening it will be presented with a small wrapped box. Inside the box is four separated chocolates, but included with Nephry's is a summer scarf. Although if they are not there at the time, they will come back find the box inside a pouch hanging on the knobs of their doors.

The guys won't get anything, except for maybe when Peony knocks on Jade's door to give him the curry he promised him way back when or on Guy's door to hand over his cute rappig for a walk, but besides that, well, the household is free to comment when they see what Peony's up to today.]

[Peony's chilled out on the couch when Jade finds him and is not about to get up anytime soon, so all that he does to greet his friend is crack an eye open and crane his neck back only enough so to catch sight of him.]

You're right. It should have happened sooner, but I was hoping so wistfully that my favor wouldn't be as wasted away as it was. Anyhow, the only thing left to do now is to find something new to place it in. You volunteering to help a best friend out?

[Peony seems to be reclining in a very Peonylike position. All is as it should be. Jade seats himself in an armchair nearby, while setting his bowl down at a nearby table.]

Oh? I don't recall volunteering, especially for such an absurd scheme. [He says very flippantly - pretty much usual Jade.]

[His lazy gaze follows Jade's figure to the armchair.]

Ah, but I don't hear you opposing the idea of volunteering either.

In that case, perhaps I should speak up. [As dryly as ever.] If I refused to volunteer, would that cause your plan to go down in flames?

Not necessarily. But maybe I should insist that you change your mind, as something would be severely lacking without you.

Ah, so you want me for my charisma. [He smirks.] Why don't you tell me exactly what exactly you have in mind for me? Then our negotiations can truly begin.

[He knows it's fruitless to argue against one of Peony's schemes. He knows he'll end up agreeing to it in the end. But he also knows that it's still fun enough to drag out that process as much as possible. Don't you have such a kind-hearted best friend, Peony?]

Your mission, should you choose to accept it or not, is for you to be a judge in the tournament... but of course I may have some paperwork for you to do on the side, as well.

My, my. That's already adding up to quite the workload. [He presses some fingers to his forehead.] Why don't you tell me more about what being a judge entails? And perhaps an idea of the volume and contents of the supposed paperwork.

Don't worry. I know you'll be interested in watching all the magic battles, you'll see. Or am I that much out of touch with what you've grown to like doing? [He knows he's not, but a tease he can't resist.]

In that case, I'll just have you do paperwork. What it entails is the making of a registration system to start with. You know: names of volunteers or participants, and categories. Sound interesting yet?

[His fingers steeple together. He is very interested in observing the magical abilities of other worlds and examining their origins.]

Perhaps you're not so out of touch after all, Your Majesty. As long as I'm allowed to speak my mind freely, perhaps I'll be able to have some fun as a judge.

Assign the paperwork to Gailardia and we'll have ourselves a deal.

I don't see the harm in letting you play nice with others, but there's no deal if you can't do the paperwork. I can't let you have all the fun and play, you see... besides I have something else in mind for Gailardia to do.

[It's hard to continue laying back and talking seriously about this deal so Peony opens both eyes and rolls onto his side to face Jade.]

Oh? What sorts of tasks do you have in mind that would keep him so preoccupied?

You have to ask? I plan to have him work with somebody on programming the tournament environment and come up with something to message all participants involved of updates and other important stuff. On top of all that, he still has to walk my cute little Jade.

So this is why, I've chosen to generously give you the job.

My, you're practically spoiling the boy.

If I am to handle the paperwork, I'm going to need a better offer.

No, that has nothing to do with it... I'm just sticking to using everyone's strengths.
